Girl Scouts
Junior Troop 10151

Michigan Shore to Shore Council
Parents,

With the start of the New Year, I hope to get the troop going on many things that they
have enjoyed in the past!  The girls have stressed an interest in having an overnighter and a
sledding party again this year so we are working on getting these activities planned.  We are
also working on going on another field trip to work on our Horse Rider Badge so look for this as
well.

Thinking Day will be around the corner before we know it and the theme this year is "Stop
the Spread of Diseases" so the girls have chosen Peru as their country to represent because it
is a country that has high Aids and Malaria.  Please help your child think of ways to display this
country so that when we begin planning, we will have a foundation to build on.

The next badge the girls will be working on is the Global Awareness Badge.
